The Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is a newly implemented environmental fee introduced by the Greek Government in accordance with Article 30 of Law 5073/2023, which replaced the previous Accommodation Tax, and was recently amended by Article 24 of Law 5162/2024. This fee applies to all hotels in Greece, and is charged per room, per night. The purpose of the fee is to mobilize financial resources to support environmental initiatives and enhance resilience against the impacts of climate change within Greece’s hospitality sector.

Affected Parties: All guests staying at hotels in Greece, including those at Neptune Luxury Resort, are required to contribute to this fee.
Collection Amount: The fee amount varies depending on the hotel category (e.g., 5-star, 4-star) and the duration of stay. For Neptune Luxury Resort, the designated fee was 10.00 Euros per night per room, but is now 15.00 Euros, effective from January 1, 2025, for all stays from this date onward.
Collection Process: The Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is collected during the check-in process at Neptune Luxury Resort, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for guests. The collected fees are remitted directly to the tax authorities.
